Since its founding in 1996, the travel website, which lets you book anything from hotels to flights to even cabs, has built a solid reputation among travelers.
Additionally, the corporation is always looking to increase the number of partners it has; in 2024, airlines like Ryanair and Icelandair will join as well as car rental brands such as Alma, Green Motion, and Record Go.
Expedia is currently among the most well-liked, which is likely due to its extensive selection and its well-designed and effective app (which has a 4.7 rating on the iOS store based on an astounding 183,000 reviews).
Airbnb Is Still Well-liked Despite Problems
Airbnb is still a well-liked option for tourists in spite of rising prices, difficulties, and controversies, despite falling to third place in the final quarter of 2023.

Like Airbnb, Vrbo is a member of the Expedia Group and operates on a comparable business model.
Booking.com is my go-to website when looking to book vacation, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite because it's far from flawless.
It’s most likely because, as a long-time user, my Genius level is fairly high, so I always seem to find great deals even at busy times – most recently, a hotel in Berlin for the notoriously busy Berlin Marathon weekend for around 25% less than the average.
A Dropper Is Hopper
Hopper, which dropped from fourth to sixth place in the most recent PYMNTS ranking, is the only app to experience a decline.
There isn't a clear explanation for this, as Hopper is still a fantastic resource for booking travel and, in my opinion, one of the greatest apps for bailing you out in the event of a bad hotel or other travel interruption.
